Sending eMail to a Yahoo! Group list requires that you use the exact email address with which you are subscribed. Once you are subscribed, you may go to the Yahoo! Group website page and provide an alternative eMail address. Not at your own PC? You may use a web browser to go to the Yahoo! Group webpage and post using the browser form. Watch carefully when you submit using the SEND button. You get a confirmation screen which is easy to miss. You need to click on the SEND button twice to post a message from the website.
Parents Adopting Kazakhstani Kids (PAKK)
Joining Yahoo! Groups will also permit you to subscribe to PAKK. PAKK was created by Kidsave host families who adopted children in 1999 from Kazakhstan. The PAKK archives for subscribers have information on adoption paperwork preparation, making travel arrangements for Kazakhstan, what to do while in Kazakhstan, and help about what to do once you get home with your child.
