Summer Hosting

Bring a child from abroad into your home for the summer, as part of the Summer Miracles program. Before petitioning to host a child, be sure a program is operating in your location and consult the summer host requirements.

There is a petition fee of $35. Host families pay a $200 application fee and an $800 transportation fee. The transportation fee goes towards the cost of a child’s travel to particpate in the program. Fees are charged once per family regardless of the number of children that are hosted, and are non-refundable.

Weekend Hosting
Invite an older foster child for overnight stays on successive weekends over a series of weekends, as part of the Weekend Miracles program. You must live in the Washington, D.C. or Los Angeles metropolitan areas. There is no fee for hosting a Weekend Miracles child(ren).
