Kidsave is an international organization for people who care about children without parents and who want to make a difference in those children’s lives. Our unique Family Visit Model has the potential for worldwide application, and can dramatically impact the number of children who grow up without the support of caring adults. Since 1997, our programs have successfully placed more than 2,000 older children with permanent families and mentors.

Year-Round Internships
Kidsave is seeking year-round interns, full-time and two to three days a week in our D.C. and L.A. offices to help build model programs that find permanent families for foster care children ages 9 to 18. We seek students who are interested in communications, social work, political science, nonprofit management, advocacy, community mobilization, marketing and communications for social change that will create a difference in children’s lives. Two stipend internships and four unpaid/for credit internships are available.
Summer Internships (multiple positions available, on-going postings)
Kidsave is seeking full-time summer interns in our L.A. and D.C. offices, and in our New York metro area volunteer community to help with our Summer Miracles family visit program, which has successfully found families for more than 1,300 older children from orphanages. Applicants should have interests in non-profit management, communications and marketing, fundraising or community. Three stipend internships and four unpaid/for credit internships are available. |
