Javier is a cheerful, social 12 year-old boy. He loves to play chess, go on bike rides and play with friends. He is described as respectful and helpful to those around him. Javier loves to dance and listen to music. He is very analytical and enjoys his studies. When playing soccer, one of his favorite pastimes, Javier demonstrates great leader-ship. He has a great sense of adventure and wants to travel to see snow, mountains and large cities.
Javier looks forward to coming to Summer Miracles and hopes that he will find a loving family with a mother and father.

Juan
Juan age 11, is sweet, loving, and well behaved. His host family says, "Juan is an absolute joy. He is polite and likes to help with the house chores. He is also very gentle and caring with our pets. Juan is friendly, respectful, and interacts well with others. He is also very smart and a great writer. Juan is eager to try things that are new to him, from food to sports. He loves playing soccer, swimming in the pool, riding bikes, and reading. He has recently discovered that he loves spicy Mexican food!" Juan hopes to find a family that will want to adopt him. Juan’s sister, Diana is also visiting this summer and hopes to find an adoptive family.
