We are proud to announce that through our advocacy efforts and those of our partners, six youth in our program have been matched for adoption. We are also excited that through our regular virtual advocacy events since April, we've matched four older foster kids in LA with hosts. Host families commit to supporting and advocating for the youth for at least a year. And after restrictions are lifted, hosts spend at least two weekends a month with their host child.

Meet 15-year-old Elijah, a huge Steelers fan, who said that his dream destination is to travel to Pittsburgh to see the Steelers play on Heinz Field. Elijah loves to play football on his high school team and is really missing being on the field with his teammates during this pandemic.
On Saturday, April 11th, Kidsave hosted our second virtual trivia event via Zoom-video conferencing! The purpose of these events is to advocate for the kids participating and helping them make lasting connections with adults, whether they are looking forhost mentors or adoptive families.
