Last Saturday 36 kids and 58 family members joined together in Montrose for a fun day of bowling!

After arriving the kids and adults did an icebreaker activity where kids could write down a list of their favorites (movies, animals, etc.) and find an adult whose favorites matched theirs.

Then, after a meal of hot dogs and French fries, the bowling began in earnest! Kids in need of host or adoptive families and adults spent the next couple of hours getting to know each other while bowling.

There were first-time bowlers who had adults helping them learn the ropes as well as returning bowlers. And after bowling, everyone had birthday cake to celebrate the February birthdays!
