Participants will learn about the impact of trauma\, trauma-informed caregiving\, building trust\, and practical tools to support youth as they develop lasting relationships with caring adults. \nTraining Dates & Times\nHost Training Parts 1–4 | 6:00–9:00 PM CST\nPart 1: Wednesday\, November 4\, 2026\nPart 2: Tuesday\, November 10\, 2026\nPart 3: Thursday\, November 12\, 2026\nPart 4: Tuesday\, November 17\, 2026\nAttendance at all four sessions is required. \nRequirements to Attend\nBefore registering for Host Training\, participants must have: \n\nCompleted a Weekend Miracles Orientation.\nSubmitted a Weekend Miracles Host Application\, which is provided after attending orientation.\nBeen contacted by a Kidsave staff member regarding the Host Family approval process.\n\nHow to Attend\nLocation: Virtual via Zoom\nZoom meeting information will be emailed to registered participants within 48 hours before the first training session.\nRegistration closes two hours before the first scheduled training session. This allows Kidsave staff enough time to finalize the registration list and ensure all registered participants receive the Zoom link before training begins. \nImportant Information\n\nParticipants must attend all four training sessions to fulfill the Host Training requirement.\nParticipants must have access to a device with working audio and video capabilities.\nCameras must remain on throughout training.\nActive participation is required. DESCRIPTION:Kidsave’s NEW VIRTUAL Weekend Miracles Host Training is a two-part series\, December 5 and 6 – totaling 12 hours.\nThe two segments must be completed to fulfill host training requirements. Each segment is six hours. \nIn order to participate\, families must have completed the following prior to sign up: \n– Weekend Miracles Orientation\n– Weekend Miracles Host Application\n– Have been contacted by a Kidsave staff member\nHost Training takes place via an online webinar and is facilitated by trainer Lori Switanowski\, LMFT\, who will provide you with insight on trauma youth have endured and the tools necessary to help them succeed. \nHOW TO ATTEND: \nZoom information will be provided within 48 hours of the event to registered participants only. \nPlease note: \nYou must be available for both training dates.\nTo participate you must be on a system that has both audio and video capabilities.\nThe two segments must be completed to fulfill host training requirements. \nQuestions?
