Project Description

Akayla – Age 12

Akayla is a sweet, thoughtful, and somewhat introverted girl who is often shy when she first meets others. Once she starts to get to know someone, though, conversations begin, and Akayla will share what matters to her. Akayla would really like to be part of an adoptive family without losing the connections she has with her biological siblings.

Akayla doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up, but she definitely wants to go to college. For now, she enjoys spending her free time playing games on her phone, hanging out with friends, and going places to explore new activities.

Meanwhile, we continue to seek the right loving adoptive family that will help Akayla keep important connections while also providing her guidance and support as she dreams of, defines, and reaches for the bright future she deserves!

Akayla is open to any family type, with or without other children, and would love a nurturing family that, like her, loves animals.
