Kidsave Website and Donor Privacy Policy and Fiduciary Responsibility

Kidsave does not sell or exchange our mailing list. The privacy of those who donate to us is our utmost concern. We list corporate sponsors on our website but we do not release names of individual names except when required by law. We work to serve children and accurately represent our work in all of our communications.

Many of our communications offer the opportunity to let us know that you do not want to continue receiving any or all communications from us. If you wish to opt-out and do not see this option on a communication you have received, please email SHIRENE@KIDSAVE.ORG or call toll free 1-866-KIDSAVE (866-543-7283). You can also mail us at Kidsave, 100 Corporate Pointe, Suite 380, Culver City, California 90230. Please spell your name and provide your contact information in these communications so we are sure to recognize you. Once received we will immediately unsubscribe you.

Occasionally, when working with a third party who is supporting our work, we may disclose information about donation history for the purpose of helping us better identify people who might be interested in supporting children outside of family care. This disclosure is done carefully and with agreements that it be kept confidential and not used for any other purpose.

Kidsave works to ensure that funds raised are spent to the maximum extent on children in need of homes. Without supporters like you we cannot do the work we do and we work hard to make good use of your investment in us. For every dollar we spend, 86 cents goes to programs. We value and respect our partnership and the trust you hold in us.

Kidsave tracks funds we receive carefully that are restricted for specific programs. If that money cannot be used as restricted, we will contact you to obtain your approval in how we might use those funds. Our financials are available for review, we are audited annually and our audits are available in the Financial section of our website.

Kidsave uses Etapestry, a Blackbaud product to process credit cards on our website. Etapestry is PCIDSS and PADSS compliant. These PCI standards cover secure storage of data, strong access control, and other requirements.
