Kidsave Welcomes Liz King to its Board of Trustees

Kidsave is proud to announce the addition of Liz King to its Board of Trustees. King, a seasoned business leader and advocate for children’s well-being, brings over 30 years of professional expertise and a heartfelt commitment to Kidsave’s mission.

A former Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President from multiple Silicon Valley based global corporations, King has significantly impacted the business world with her leadership in sales, strategic development, and market expansion. Her decision to join Kidsave’s Board reflects her desire to channel her vast business management and mentoring talents toward philanthropic endeavors.

“Liz’s expertise and passion for our cause are truly inspiring,” says Randi Thompson, CEO and Co-Founder of Kidsave. “Her proven leadership skills and deep commitment to our mission make her an invaluable addition to our team. We are excited to have her on board as we continue to empower more children to find their forever families.”

King’s introduction to Kidsave came through Trustee Tania Cheater, and the organization’s mission immediately struck a chord with her. She is already actively leading the Kidsave’s Hike with Your Heart Committee in Northern California and is focused on establishing a robust Summer Miracles community there over the next two years while also supporting Kidsave’s impactful initiatives in the Ukraine.

“I am thrilled to join the Kidsave Board of Trustees,” says King. “Kidsave’s vision of a world where every child is nurtured from the start by the love and warmth of a forever family resonates with me deeply. I am committed to leveraging my experience to help expand Kidsave’s impact and reach, ensuring that more children and young adults have the supportive relationships they need to thrive.”

King received her MBA with honors from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. Residing in San Jose, California, her educational background and professional journey reflect her dedication to excellence and transformational leadership.
