In July 2025, the Kidsave Miracles Center in western Ukraine was honored to welcome a dedicated group of volunteers and social workers from our longtime ally,PlebeianHelpers.
This grassroots organization, founded by Joe Cyr, provides humanitarian aid for Ukrainians affected by the war. PlebeianHelpers is a highly impactful nonprofit organization, delivering lifesaving medical equipment, food, goods, and basic humanitarian essentials, all made possible through donations from around the world. Since the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Kidsave and the PlebeianHelpers have collaborated a multitude of times, united by a shared commitment to providing resources and care to all Ukrainian people affected by the war.
As the war continues and humanitarian aid becomes increasingly difficult to deliver, the needs of Ukrainian civilians are greater than ever. In 2025, thanks to the generosity of numerous supporters, donations to the PlebeianHelpers exceeded expectations, raising over $320,000. Every dollar goes directly to benefit Ukraine and its people, with part of the funding dedicated to special initiatives like the Kidsave Miracles Center.
The Miracles Center provides a safe haven for children impacted by the war and helps find them potential adoptive families, as well as career training for older youth. Since opening a year ago, the Miracles Center has provided safety, care, and educational support to nearly 100 children impacted by the war.
Over the course of four days this summer, longtime volunteer leaders Beth Cyr and Erika Vitek led a group of 10 to deliver educational resources and recovery services to children who lost (or were separated from?)their families due to the conflict. In addition, PlebeianHelpers generously provided $10,000 to build bedrooms for families to stay in when they visit the Miracles Center. We could not have accomplished this feat on our own.
Thanks to the PlebeianHelpers, our Miracles Center continues to grow and improve, giving more families and orphans the chance to rebuild their lives.
