LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Kidsave announced today the appointment of Joseph (Joe) George, President of Mobility Solutions at Cox Automotive, to its Board of Trustees. George brings more than 35 years of executive leadership experience developing and executing business strategy, driving organizational growth, and building high-performing teams. His expertise will help guide Kidsave as it expands programs that connect children and teens in foster care with permanent families and lifelong supportive relationships.

As President of Mobility Solutions at Cox Automotive, Joe leads the company’s Cox Fleet and EV Battery Solutions businesses, earning a reputation for collaborative leadership, operational excellence, and strategic execution.   He also brings valuable nonprofit governance experience through his service as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Notre Dame Academy, where he helped provide strategic oversight while ensuring the organization remained mission focused as it grew.

George’s connection to Kidsave is deeply personal. His family hosted a child from Colombia through Kidsave’s Summer Miracles program—an experience he says transformed the way he thinks about family and belonging. Since then, he has become a passionate advocate for Kidsave’s relationship-based approach to helping older youth and siblings in foster care build permanent families and lifelong supportive connections.

Kidsave’s focus on building genuine, lasting family connections for children and teens in foster care, is exactly the kind of urgent, solvable problem I want to help advance,” says George. He is excited to bring his expertise to help expand Kidsave’s impact within the state of Georgia.

Joe’s strategic leadership, governance experience, and deep commitment to Kidsave’s mission make him an outstanding addition to Kidsave’s Board of Trustees,” said Randi Thompson, President and CEO of Kidsave. ” He understands our work not only as an accomplished business leader but also as someone whose own family has experienced the power of Kidsave’s programs. His insight, leadership, and relationships throughout Georgia will be invaluable as we continue expanding our reach and helping more children and teens find the permanent connections they deserve.”

George joins Kidsave’s Board of Trustees at an exciting time as the organization begins building its presence in Georgia. His leadership, strategic expertise, and deep connections throughout the state will help guide Kidsave’s expansion and bring its mission to more children and teens in foster care.
