Weekend Miracles Houston Coordinator

Ashlee Evans, a Sam Houston State University graduate, has an undergraduate degree in Political Science. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Public Administration. Ashlee developed a passion for advocating for at-risk youth when working for a child-placing agency where she recruited, on-boarded, and trained families to become foster or adoptive parents. Through her experience working in foster care, Ashlee became a community advocate in the anti-trafficking movement, where she trained the community, local law enforcement, and other partnering agencies in human trafficking and the need to band together. Ashlee is very involved in her community and has previously served as an advisor and board member for a local non-profit serving expecting mothers. Ashlee believes it takes a village, and she is passionate about making a difference in the community and advocating for our most vulnerable population.
