Please RSVP below to register for our virtual Program & Advocacy Training.
This training is a required step in the Weekend Miracles Houston Host Family approval process.
During this training, you will learn more about the Kidsave Weekend Miracles program, the responsibilities and expectations of Host Families, and how to advocate for youth in foster care as they build meaningful, lasting connections with caring adults.
Requirements to Attend
Before registering for Program & Advocacy Training, participants must have:
- Completed a Weekend Miracles Orientation.
- Submitted a Weekend Miracles Host Application, which is provided after attending orientation.
- Been contacted by a Kidsave staff member regarding the Host Family approval process.
- Completed all four sessions of Weekend Miracles Host Training, unless otherwise approved by Kidsave staff.
How to Attend
Location: Virtual via Zoom
Zoom meeting information will be emailed to registered participants within 48 hours before the training.
Registration closes two hours before the scheduled training start time. This allows Kidsave staff enough time to finalize the registration list and ensure all registered participants receive the Zoom link before training begins.
Important Information:
- Registration is required to attend.
- Participants must have access to a device with working audio and video capabilities.
- Participants are expected to remain engaged and actively participate throughout the training.
