Dakota is a caring 14-year-old who adores her little sister. In her free time, she enjoys reading and watching movies—especially if they have drama in them. Dakota also loves music and is in the marching band at her school! Although a little shy at first, with time, Dakota’s loving personality shines through. When she grows up, Dakota wants to be either a police officer or a teacher.

Mila is an energetic 10-year-old who likes to dance and create her own choreography. She loves music and wants to be in the marching band one day just like her big sister. Often described as artistic and spontaneous, Mila is a bundle of personality with a smile that can light up a room.

This winter, Dakota and Mila are staying with a host family in New Jersey. Their host family says, “The best part has been getting to know these amazing girls! They have brought a lot of light into our home. We love watching their reactions to a lot of firsts they’ve experienced, like playing in the snow for the first time! Dakota is a very smart young girl. She is very helpful and is an excellent older sister to her little sister, Mila. We’ve learned that Mila loves dogs, and she loved decorating the Christmas tree with us.”
