Jean and Krista – Ages 13 & 11

Jean is a warm and caring 13-year-old girl who loves to cook and try new foods! Her demeanor is usually calm, and she can be a bit shy when meeting new people. Once you get to know her, Jean’s happy to speak with you about most topics. She would likely be excited to discuss her recent venture into fishing! She has already earned the title of “determined fisher” despite only picking up the skill recently. Jean loves learning about new topics, visiting museums and has a fondness for rabbits. Her host family describes her as an animal loving, playful girl saying “Jean is an easy going, helpful, and a respectful kid who loves rabbits.”

Krista, 11 years old, is an active girl who enjoys swimming and bouncing on trampolines! She has a fun-loving personality and loves to joke around. Being a more selective eater, she takes a while to warm up to new foods. She prefers to explore the world through the arts! Her inquisitive nature shows itself in her love of books. She loves to curl up and get lost in fictional worlds.

Jean and Krista’s host family were moved by the girls’ soft natures. They are truly invested in helping these siblings find their perfect forever family. “These kind and caring girls are looking for a mom and a dad who will care for them and teach them to follow God and love others!” Of course, it also wouldn’t hurt if you can cook some of their favorite meals. “It’s a plus if you can grill some carne asada or make queso arepas!”

Krista and her sister share a calm demeanor, a love of animals, and both girls are curious and warmhearted.
