Kidsave is pleased to announce the appointment of Kailyn Wilson as a Board Associate. Wilson is a mission-driven finance professional with 15 years of experience in commercial and industrial banking. Her passion for impact has led her to specialize in nonprofit finance, helping mission-based organizations grow and thrive.
Wilson is Vice President, Relationships Manager at Banc of California. She also serves on the strategic planning committee for Lift to Rise, a nonprofit organization focused on creating 10,000 units of affordable housing and increasing economic mobility. Wilson is also a member of the loan committee for PCR Business Finance, a CDFI advancing equitable access to capital, and has been a guest speaker for banking and finance workshops with Ampac Capital and the Polk Institute. In December 2024, she was honored as a nominee for the Los Angeles Times B2B Inspirational Women Awards.
“I greatly admire the work Kidsave does on behalf of older youth in foster care,” said Wilson. “As a mother of three, I personally draw my strength and joy from my family, and I want to help more children experience the love and security that comes from a forever family. Even to be able to help just one child connect with an adoptive family would be a privilege.”
Wilson is active in her community and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., African American Real Estate Professionals of Los Angeles (AAREP LA), and the African American Parent Educator Advisory Committee (AAPEAC) for the Etiwanda School District.
Randi Thompson, Kidsave CEO and Co-Founder, said, “We are honored to welcome Kailyn to our Board of Trustees. Not only is she bringing her years of experience in finance to Kidsave but also her personal dedication to helping older youth in foster care find families and thrive. Kailyn understands how crucial it is for children to have a stable support system to cheer them on and guide them as they grow.”
Wilson received her Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in Business Administration from Howard University.
