Kidsave’s 20th Annual MiracleMakers Golf Classic

Kidsave held our 20th Annual MiracleMakers Golf Classic fundraiser at the Industry Hills Golf Course in Industry, CA.  and more than 120 golfers and supporters gathered from across Los Angeles to raise funds in support of Kidsave’s mission Aside from golf, the day included raffles, silent and live auctions, and a cocktail dinner in the evening with an exceptional guest speaker – one of our Kidsave success stories!

As folks began arriving, golfers gathered and mingled while preparing to enjoy the day.  Attendees indulged in a light breakfast, checked in, and chatted excitedly about the upcoming festivities. When it was time to get started, the golfers hopped in carts and set out across the gorgeous course. Golf wasn’t the only activity awaiting them; we also had a small assortment of mini games – including, but not limited to, the chance to win a Maserati! That’s right, if one lucky golfer was able to hit a hole in one, they’d get to drive off into the sunset in a gorgeous blue Maserati. Unfortunately, no one was that lucky…but there’s always next year!

A special guest at this year’s Golf Classic was former Kidsave Kid, Massimo. During the cocktail hour, he gave a moving speech about how he met his parents – David and Frances – through our Weekend Miracles program.

Addressing the crowd, Massimo said:

“I met my family through Kidsave in 2022. They’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me – and I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to them! Kidding. But I’m so glad to have my mom and dad here and to give this speech.”

As Massimo took his seat, we segued into the live auction. Exciting items were up for grabs – including a stay in a gorgeous Telluride home, dinner at Danny Magic’s Magic Castle, and much more. Guests let their competitive spirits loose, but all in good fun and for a good cause.

It was truly a day to remember.
