Kidsave Welcomes Kelly O’Neil to its Board of Trustees

O’Neil has extensive accounting experience and has been with CBIZ MHM, LLC, for more than 15 years. Today she is a Lead Managing Director at CBIZ and serves on the Executive Board of CBIZ’s Women Advantage program.

O’Neil first became involved with Kidsave through its annual Miracles Gala, CBIZ has been a longtime sponsor of the Kidsave Miracles Gala, and in 2015, O’Neil joined Kidsave’s Gala Committee. For the last seven years, she has helped plan, organize, and execute Kidsave’s largest annual fundraising event. CBIZ was one of the first Kidsave Partners for Change and has committed to raising funds through employee engagement activities and corporate sponsorships.

When asked about her decision to further her commitment to Kidsave, O’Neil said, “I have seen firsthand the amazing work that Kidsave does to change outcomes for older kids in foster care. While I have enjoyed partnering to raise funds and supporting the gala, I wanted to do more to further this effort and lend my expertise to help more kids thrive.”

Kidsave CEO and President Randi Thompson expressed that O’Neil’s appointment to the Board of Trustees further affirms the importance and worthiness of Kidsave’s mission.

“Kelly and CBIZ have already been tremendous assets as Gala supporters and Partners for Change. It means a great deal to us that Kelly is now strengthening her commitment as a Board leader,” said Thompson. “She sees the urgency and necessity in standing up for older kids who need a connection, and I know she will further our mission as she has for the last several years.”

O’Neil is a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia, where she completed her degree in Business Administration. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is International Financial Reporting Standards Certified.
