Dear Kidsave family and friends, It's the start of spring, a time we usually bask in the beauty of blooming flowers, blossoming trees, and warmer weather. However, this spring many of us are left feeling uncertain as COVID-19 events continue to unfold.
In 2001, 11-year-old Zhenya from Tomsk, Russia, traveled across the world to participate in Kidsave’s Summer Miracles program. Hosted by a family advocating for his adoption, Zhenya met Christine and Sean Doolan, and an immediate connection was formed.

Meet 15-year-old Elijah, a huge Steelers fan, who said that his dream destination is to travel to Pittsburgh to see the Steelers play on Heinz Field. Elijah loves to play football on his high school team and is really missing being on the field with his teammates during this pandemic.
On Saturday, April 11th, Kidsave hosted our second virtual trivia event via Zoom-video conferencing! The purpose of these events is to advocate for the kids participating and helping them make lasting connections with adults, whether they are looking forhost mentors or adoptive families.
