Since the invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, Kidsave has been conducting rescue and evacuation efforts and providing much-needed humanitarian aid across Ukraine. Our current needs are listed here.

Since 2010, Kidsave has worked in Sierra Leone, getting more than 1,100 kids out of orphanages and into vetted families -- nearly always with kin.
Kidsave’s Pathways to Success program in Ukraine was chosen as one of eight finalists to present at the European Mentoring Summit.
... In response, Kidsave sent funds to buy food staples (rice, sugar and salt) and school supplies, and to pay for the modest school fees so the children could stay in school.
During a pandemic, now more than ever it is essential to connect Kidsave’s foster youth and Colombian kids with loving and supportive families interested in hosting, mentoring, and adoption.
“If I had advice for families interested in adoption, I would say don’t let the fear of the unknown stop you,” said Stefanie. "Sometimes, you don't find the perfect match right away and sometimes things don’t work out. Just jump in and have a little faith. Get to know the Kidsave program..."
