I grew up in El Salvador where I lived with my family in the center of constant danger and violence. I remember from an early age seeing people dead lying in the streets. I could barely leave the house out of fear that something bad would happen to me.
On November 23, on National Adoption Day, Jack will join thousands of other youth around the country to have his adoptions finalized. Jack will have a new adoptive dad, just shy of his 18th birthday!
